NexaTill · Product · In build · 2026

A POS platform for restaurants that have to stay legal and stay open.

Appstric product. A multi-tenant SaaS POS with five Vue apps on one Laravel core, fiscal drivers for Pakistan and Stripe billing for the platform.

The product

01

The problem is not another till

Pakistan is forcing Tier-1 retailers onto digital invoicing. That is a purchase decision, not a feature request. The products that win the consideration set are the ones that can issue a legal invoice, run a shift, and still look like a platform when the second branch opens.

The local field is full of single-store billing tools. NexaTill is the opposite bet: a multi-tenant operating system for restaurants, cafes, and retail counters, Pakistan-first, built so MENA does not require a rewrite.

  • Legal gate: FBR and provincial (PRA) digital invoicing
  • Operating gate: multi-branch menus, roles, cash, KDS
  • Platform gate: tenants, licenses, billing, an internal console

02

One kernel, five audiences

Cashiers do not log into the owner portal. Owners do not share a session with NexaTill operators. Public customers should never see staff PIN. The architecture follows that sentence.

Laravel 12 serves five Vue 3 + TypeScript SPAs. Auth is three Sanctum guards, staff-api, platform-api, internal-api, plus a public storefront. Hostnames do the rest: branch apex for POS, /admin for managers, platform.* for owners, console.* for us, tenant apex for the brand site.

System Five Vue SPAs. One Laravel kernel. Separated by host and auth guard — not five codebases pretending to be a platform.

The terminal has to survive a lunch rush

The in-store POS is not a dashboard. It is a three-panel shell: menu, cart, billing, under a top bar for shop, shift, and staff. Order-taker mode holds unpaid tables. Kitchen Display and Customer Display are first-class, not afterthoughts. An offline order queue syncs when the line comes back.

Staff enter with a PIN. Roles and permissions are real. The cash drawer has a ledger. If a model or a new surface ever sits on this product, it will sit behind the same rules, humans remain the actor on money.

In-store terminal The shift still has to close. POS shell as built: top bar, then menu, cart, and billing as three panels the cashier never leaves.

04

Compliance in the kernel, not as a PDF export

Fiscal is a driver registry: FBR and PRA behind a FiscalAuthority contract, IRN and QR on the receipt, an offline fiscal flow with reconciliation. The code is built. Production go-live still needs credentials and a whitelisted egress IP. We say that out loud because a case study that hides the last mile is a brochure.

The same kernel holds Stripe-hosted Checkout and a Customer Portal for SaaS subscriptions, inventory items and recipes with stock movements, and loyalty accounts. License entitlement exists and is off by default until the commercial model is decided.

What is true today

NexaTill is an Appstric product in active development. The storefront can publish a brand site. It cannot yet take a customer payment for an online order, that lifecycle is the next major deliverable. Aggregators and local PSPs (JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast) are Phase 2, not pretend-done.

This is the work we mean when we say we stay until the product works. A POS that cannot invoice is not a product. A platform that cannot close a shift is not a platform. We are building both, in that order.

Status · August 2026 Built is not the same as sold. We do not put a restaurant count on a product that is still in development. This is the honest split.
